Service, Service, Service
It is 7:00 on a Saturday evening. You are in the kitchen, busily preparing dinner for ten guests who will arrive soon. Suddenly, the garbage disposal in the sink stops working, leaving you with a sink full of dirty water, pots, bowls, and utensils. Now what? Who is going to help fix the disposal unit at this time of day and on such short notice?
This exact scenario happened to one of Liebhaber Company’s long-standing clients. While most general contractors build and renovate homes and then move on with no further interaction with the client, some, like Liebhaber Company, are there for their clients in the months and years after the project is complete.
When our client called, they were very apologetic for disturbing our firm’s principal, Andrew Liebhaber, after normal business hours and on the weekend. But we reassured them: we are here to help. After determining which disposal unit was in the apartment, Andrew instructed the client to locate a red button on the bottom of the unit and press it. This reset the disposal unit to its factory settings. With a bit more guidance and testing to ensure everything was working properly, our client was immensely relieved and grateful for the assistance.
At Liebhaber Company, these types of stories are not uncommon. When they happen, our clients know they can rely on us for service and advice. As general contractors, we see ourselves not only as builders, but as problem solvers and service providers.
