Executive Team

Convincing the local home center to set up a trade account at the age of 14 was one of Andrew’s early accomplishments as a young builder growing up on Long Island. From an early age, Andrew looked for any opportunity he could to hone his skills with local builders, and as a young man, he set out to build his own home improvement company from the ground up.

Andrew pursued a degree in accounting and business to gain the professional experience he needed to run a successful construction firm, and in 1990, he became a professional CPA auditing large construction firms throughout the country.

He re-ignited his life-long dream in 1993, opening the doors to Liebhaber Company on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Today, his company is an 80+ person multi-disciplined establishment of craftsmen, project managers, and millworkers who specialize in high-end residential renovations, restaurant construction, and amenity space development for discerning clients throughout the city.

Michael has a unique knack for parsing out details and understanding the complexities of the most challenging of projects.

He pursued a career in structural engineering, and after a successful 10 year career working in NYC, he chose to go back to his construction roots. He joined his brother, Andrew, to help Liebhaber develop construction and manufacturing processes that allow Liebhaber to excel in the sophisticated New York market.

As Executive Director, Michael has led Liebhaber’s initiative to scale up the company by streamlining daily operations and project management services using advanced customized software. He keeps current with new technologies and is continually improving the capabilities of our 20,000 SF millwork shop.

Andy began his career as a laborer at an art gallery in SoHo. He worked his way up through the carpentry trade and into supervisory positions until becoming an Executive Project Manager in 2007.

Andy oversees large-scale, high-end residential projects throughout Manhattan. He loves his work and values the relationships and professional partnerships he has built over the years.

Andy is admired and appreciated by clients who are fond of his good-natured, level-headed, and honest approach to building.
